Alpha 11 :)
Major additions are maid identity loss, the control crystal mechanic (objects to defend, roughly), the mirror identity trap and male character maid dress images. There's also been some adjustments to alraunes and how the visitors handle them (they were not doing so very smartly...), and the addition of a more direct transformation and way for visitors to cure such (intended as a potential delay tactic, as even aware visitors will cure their transformations and use up a few turns).
Changelog:
+ Added maid identity loss
-> After becoming a maid, characters will gradually forget other characters, concerns, knowledge and other memories; as well as lose their 'old memories' (an extra value)
-> Once they have fully forgotten their old identity, their visitor form will become a 'maid visitor' or the appearance used for identical maids
-> Optionally, the maid transformation can be delayed until the character has forgotten their old self
-> Optionally, a chance can be set that cured maids who have generified will be secret maids, rather than visitors lacking a proper identity
+ Hopefully fixed some weird/bad behaviour that could occur in rare instances when trainees successfully convince a visitor that them being a trainee makes sense
+ Added control crystals.
-> These are immovable objects to keep visitors away from (even unaware visitors might accidentally damage them)
-> Losing them has immediate effects on all maids (stunned/incapacitated/cured depending on how many remain), and increases the cost of all magical actions
-> This option can be disabled, and optionally the locations can be randomised
+ Fixed doubling up of alraune seed trackers after a body swap
+ Fixed alraune default orders not being set properly after a transformation
+ Possibly fixed a crash when certain memories are lost in certain ways
+ Fixed traitors and secret maids calling for help
+ Allowed changing keep-trainee-appearance maids to other appearances, and allowed changing to trainee maid appearances (this will make visitors that observe it aware)
+ Added an option to fully randomise the starting characters
+ Added the identity mirror trap
-> Starts uncharged and in the master suite; can be charged for 12 power per charge and moved by maids
-> When activated and in a room with visitors, it will randomly attempt to tempt one into looking into it by expending charges
-> The number of charges used can be changed, and aware visitors attempts will consume twice as many
-> If the roll (mirror vs. visitor magic) is successfully, the visitor will be transformed according to the chosen mode - currently into strangers or copies of visitors in the manor
-> Visitors present when the transformation occurs will not become aware, as the transformation is a twisting of reality
-> Visitors who resist the mirror will be immune for a six hours
-> Maids and secret maids can be ordered to use the mirror
+ Fixed next page button always being visible in sub menus
+ Fixed various item creating actions being available when the master is incapacitated
+ Visitors now share most information faster (other than major knowledge (e.g. maid curing, defeating the master), everything is shared in one turn)
+ Visitors now share locked door information
+ Did some performance changes to try and fix some performance trouble after characters have become aware, and to some extent before as well. Please let me know if there are any weird side effects
+ Fixed a crash that occurred sometimes when visitors sought the master
+ Hopefully fixed items moving around when spawning with characters
+ Fixed alraune infect order names
+ Added visitors barricading doors. Barricades can be removed in a single turn from the side the barricade was setup, and cannot be unlocked normally
+ Added male character maid dress images
+ Hid the lower text backing section on character cards so the full image can be better seen
+ Added a plant zombie cursed deal variant
+ Added an 'alraune seed concern' that makes visitors seek medicine or attempt to research a cure if they are infected with an alraune seed while unaware
+ Fixed alraune seed tracker not getting cleared in some cases
+ Aware visitors can now remove alraune seeds from themselves
+ Fixed a bug that may have prevented visitors from seeking and curing high bond characters who have become alraunes
+ Aware visitors who believe there are alraunes around (saw a plant zombie, alraune or alraune seed infection) may seek them out to cure them
+ Fixed alraune transformation curing being very hard
+ Visitors who become plant zombies now make noise, which may cause nearby visitors to come to their location
+ Plant zombies now have a chance to stay put instead of acting
+ Alraunes now have their combat stat reduced to two thirds
+ Fixed alraune curing tf having the wrong starting image
+ Followers will now assist their leader when they are curing an alraune
+ Aware visitors will now sometimes banter, strengthening their bonds
+ Visitors who are hanging out somewhere now have a chance to read a book in the room they are in
+ Fixed visitors sometimes not reading books properly when deliberately selecting a book to read
+ Added visitors seeking to cure transformations they have experienced
-> If a visitor isn't sure they've body swapped, they will more generally investigate transformations
-> Visitors can learn 'shape-shifting' in the library. This allows them to transform once - they cannot share the knowledge, and will need to research it again after use
-> Shape-shifting takes a few turns. Unaware visitors will try to do so privately
-> The identity mirror can now partially fail and transform either the personality or body of the target only
-> Added a trap book that will transform the reader
+ Fixed wrong body concern possibly not being created correctly in some cases
+ Fixed plant zombie transformation resetting some kinds of appearance transformation
+ Fixed characters observing rooms before all effects (e.g. items, mirror) had taken effect - this may have side effects
+ Fixed a crash when an unaware visitor wishes to ask a question of the master when in the room with the master while the master is incapacitated
+ Fixed radio and diffuser not being destroyable
+ Alraune charge tracker is now removed when an alraune is cured
+ Visitors now share the knowledge that interrogating a maid isn't worthwhile
