Incarnasoul Alpha 9


Alpha 9 is now released. There's a lot of minor UI features (e.g. a ton of new tooltips, mass actions), the Bimbo Curse activity, various fixes, a basic manual and some initial automation stuff.

Full Changelog:
+ Fixed Taking the Taken critical failure text (loss/no effect was reversed)
+ Fixed item recharging consuming attached items
+ Fixed character cards that have removable cursed items removed keeping the striped name backing pattern despite no longer having any curses
+ Fixed recharged items not updating their displays after being recharged
+ Fixed items removed by autoequip not being removed correctly
+ Fixed items that create activities not detaching from their holding box correctly (caused display issues when viewing the activity and after removal; possibly more)
+ Fixed it not being possible to drop items on activities, even if they could fill a required item slot
+ Loyalty requirements for items are no longer shown over souls (who have no loyalty requirement for items)
+ Fixed equipped cards disappearing when zoomed all the way out
+ Fixed one of the mind scrubbing results not having its text mapping applied (and likely some other problems)
+ Character image changes from transformations over time while captured should now be included in the each turn effects details
+ When the player character is away from the realm, items used on characters will be used by another incarnation instead. If there are none, the item won't be used
+ A character who takes over from the player character when they are lost will now gain the realm shaper trait
+ It's now possible to control-click cards attached to other cards to view them
+ Fixed the back button ui not appearing (there weren't many places using it, but there are more now with control-click)
+ Added auto-start when able ('pending') activities. Regular activities can be marked to auto-start, and blacksmith activities automatically are. Activities that are unable to start show the broad reason they are still pending. Shift-clicking an activity that cannot be auto assigned will mark it to start when able; doing so again will set it to not
+ Increased building upgrade costs
+ Added tooltips to character trait boxes and the trait selection dropdown during character creation
+ Added some additional music
+ Added a realm shaper icon to characters with realm shaper
+ Realm shapers can now be more effective at their role (though the base value is high, so highly suitable improves less relatively compared to e.g. a builder)
+ Changed text displayed on characters when dragging a template, and added an explanation to the tutorial
+ Clarified numbers shown over buildings being constructed and improved the number to show the difference from adding the dragged character, instead of just their building skill (i.e. takes into account foreman etc.)
+ Fixed foreman bonus multiplying with each additional builder
+ Enabled putting templates onto incarnations
+ Templates should now use knowledge copying and mind scrubbing as appropriate
+ Fixed unintentionally persisting red backing colour for suitability information
+ Added tooltips to the trait selection dropdown and trait value areas when creating templates
+ Added a loading screen when starting a new game or loading a game
+ Added mass item selling/dumping/salvaging and mass character banishment/selling
+ Added export/import of character designs to the create character screen
+ Added Bimbo Curse, a curse activity that can affect the realm. It can occur as a consequence of an angered villain, or due to a critical failure while bimbo fishing
+ Fixed Taking the Taken critical failure not being able to roll the captured result
+ Fixed the wrong character being imprisoned most of the time when a character fails the challenge in the Energy Raid critical fail
+ Added manual
+ Added infirmary
+ Assignment outfits are no longer briefly reset after loading
+ Characters assigned to buildings should no longer float to position after loading
+ Added tooltips while in the main game view (should appear after briefly pausing mouse movement)
-> These will show e.g. role details for characters over activities
-> Options to disable them and have them instantly appear are in the bottom tab
+ Met and unmet requirements for roles are now coloured (useful for the new tooltips)
+ Added skin tone changing and hair dying to the salon, after it is upgraded
+ Incarnations may now use the salon to get a haircut, dye their hair or change their skin tone if they are bored
+ Hopefully fixed a knowledge copying crash
+ Blocked templates will now do series of activities that have one more step require, if they are currently blocked. If the template would skip blocked steps, they will always try an alternate method if it is not also blocked
+ Templates with multiple options (rare currently) now choose the least risky option (with a little leeway)
+ Templates can now have a risk limit set, which will cause activity options that have high risk to be ignored (causing skips or blocking the template according to other settings)
+ Did a pass through loyalty stuff to remove cases where the player character gains or loses loyalty
+ Some equipment now occupies specific outfit slots. Equipping something that uses the same slot will unequip an item already equipped to the slot. Cursed items forcefully attached (e.g. by activity results) ignore this. These values aren't retroactively applied
+ Fixed a bug that may have sometimes caused bad auto-equip results
+ Made some performance improvements relating to character image selection - might cause issues
+ Activities with daily effects should now show tfs that happen due to them in cases where they have affected characters not attached to the activity
+ Characters should now show tf animations while on the game board after a turn ends
+ Added automation rules
-> These can trigger on selected events
-> Cards are checked against filters when these events occur
-> If the card matches the filter, actions are performed
-> There'll be a lot of additions and changes, so it is very likely that created rules become invalid in Alpha 10
+ Auto-assign will now automatically assign items
